Each class includes a short period of instruction on one or more topics with the

remainder of class devoted to you producing artwork.  This way your are exposed over

time to a broad array of skills, styles, techniques, tools and materials. 

My goal is to expand your knowledge/skill base and to help you explore and refine your creative efforts.

You will be free to work in your media of choice.   

 

Examples of topics: Perspective, how to draw what you see, composition,
color theory, creating light and depth in your work, negative space, abstraction, impressionism, realism, still life, landscape

 

Examples of media:  Acrylic, pastel, quache, watercolor, aqua oil, pencil, ink, charcoal & more

 

Examples of Techniques:  Painting in most media, drawing in most media,
printmaking, mixed media, collage
